It’s not officially summer here but it’s been

It’s not officially summer here but it’s been toasty so it feels like it. Lately- the ironwood in full bloom, javelinas snacking on the quail block, a new end table from an estate sale, treasures from Savers, wildflowers, peonies from Mother’s Day from my beautiful daughter since she just got back from Ireland, a garden that’s not as bountiful as it was in my head before we planted it but soaking up our backyard and dreaming of how all the plants will fill in with time.
Not pictured- our poor pup Jack who got bit by a rattlesnake and is recovering from having his eye removed. Grateful he made it but sad about his eye. :(
